Good friends and lots of babies!!

My good friend Becky was in town from Indianapolis with her two adorable boys Liam and Jude. Our friend Liz also drove over with her son William...The house was full of children and Mathieu exclaimed, "Mama, it's a toddler party!"

It was so nice to see Becky again and all the boys (no girls in the bunch!!) had fun playing together. Its too bad she's not closer but Scott's got to fix those race cars...!

Anyways, its hard to believe that when we first became friends we were young woman with no children and now here we are with 5 boys between us and surely more to come! It will be interesting to see what are get togethers look like in a few years from now!

The universal language of CHOCOLATE!!

I definately wanted to post a few pictures from our evening out with my sister-in-law Yuko and her family that was visiting from Japan. We went for supper at a lovely Japanese restaurant and then for dessert at Juliette et Chocolat. Chocolate definately is a universal language since everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves and having a good time...and a chocolate buzz!!!!

Summer days...

Here are a couple of pictures from our day today. Mathieu had a friend over and we went to see the "Wizard of Oz" in the park. The boys gave home and decided to make a "potion magique". They practically emptied the fridge for the ingredients and concotted the most unpleasant mixture....!

3 years old!

Here are a couple of pictures from Gabriel's birthday dinner. We took the kids out to St. Hubert, one of their favourite restaurants. We like it too since, with the a playroom for the kids, Vincent and I get a chance to have an adult conversation! Everybody's happy!

Here are a few photos from our weekend in the eastern townships. We went to the town of Coaticook which boasts the longest suspended bridge in the world (Guiness World Record). The kids were real trooper walking and hiking through the park!

We're having a heat wave...

Hi,

Well, we have been having a real heat wave in Montreal for the last few days. On some days, it has reached +36. Needless to say, we have been seeking out ways to beat the heat in Montreal. Therefore, we have been hitting the sprinkler parks and pools in our area with a vengence! For example, this was our schedule last Wednesday. The boys and I walked (dripping and miserable the whole way!) down our street to a brand new sprinkler park. We spend almost 2 hours there. Then we walked to Laurier park and had a picnic in the shade. Despite the shade, we got hot again and made our way to the pool in the park where we spent another couple of hours. After we walked home, we were hot again so we filled the pool on the back balconey and turned the sprinkler on. When Vincent got home from work it was too hot to eat in the house so I packed a picnic and we headed back to the sprinkler park where we ran into about 4 other families that we know (everyone had the same idea apparently!). I have actually been grateful for the days I work this week just to have air conditioning!!

Yesterday, we also spent the morning at the sprinkler park with my friend Liz and her baby and the boys had a great time. I should be able to post pictures in the next few days (our new computer has arrived!) so you can for yourselves the boys having fun in the water.

Tonight, we are leaving for Michel's cottage once again so we will at least be close to a beach and we can put the sprinkle on in his back yard (plenty of room for the boys to run!) Our friend Hélène may meet us there on Saturday...

That's it for now!
